Extinguishing the fire on the island, rescue and assistance to the victims - this was the scenario of today's exercises on the deployment and procedure of the forces and means of the Main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, employees of the Center for Disaster Medicine of the Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan. Joint rescue operations were carried out on the island of Marquis in the water area of the Volga River.
The idea of the tactical-special exercise was based on an incident that can actually occur on the coastal zones.
According to the legend of the exercises, the "Emergency Call Service-112" received information from vacationers that on the island of Marquis on the Volga River there was a fire of old buildings and dry grass. The fire is spreading rapidly, and two people have been poisoned by the products of burning.
At the first stage of the exercise, the order of notification and arrival of personnel of the interdepartmental non-standard operational response group was worked out. The rescue operation took several minutes. At this time, firefighters have already started to extinguish the simulated fire directly from the board of the multifunctional boat "Leader-12 PM".
As soon as the multifunctional boat moored to the shore, the conditional victims were taken to the ambulance.
After that, the command "End the exercise" followed.
