EUROPEAN IMMUNIZATION WEEK assigned during April 26 - May 2

26 April 2021, Monday

World Health Organization (WHO), global health threats:

wars, pollution, climate change, diabetes, cancer, vaccination refusal.
Immunization can prevent 2 to 3 million deaths from diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and measles each year.
What are the dangers of the infections that we are vaccinated against?
With diphtheria, 2/3 of patients develop heart disease (myocarditis).
If you get hurt, you can get tetanus, the mortality rate from which reaches 90-100%.
From measles, children develop encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), there may be violations of the intellectual development of the child and death.
Mumps (mumps) can cause the development of deafness and infertility, mainly in boys.
Polio causes irreversible paralysis.
Complications from the flu (pneumonia, etc.) lead to hospitalization and death.
To ensure the epidemic well-being of the population, the level of coverage of the population with routine immunization should be at least 95%.
Remember, today there is no more effective defense mechanism than vaccination!
Remember, the refusal of vaccinations poses a threat to the health of not only a particular person, but also for his close environment (family, group or class, friends). Especially dangerous is the refusal of vaccination for people with reduced immunity (young children, the elderly, people with chronic diseases, pregnant women), because they are most vulnerable to bacteria and viruses.
When you make a decision to delay or refuse vaccination, you take on a great responsibility, because such a decision can put the health and life of you and your child at risk and harm people around you.
Each of us has the right to life, which means that we have the right to be vaccinated and healthy!
