Participants of the scientific conference visit the CSMC
The international scientific and practical conference on the topic of: "Five-year implementation of the Sendai Framework at the national and local level: results and prospects". It was held under the patronage of the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR - UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction).
The purpose of this conference is to inform the participants about the results and prospects of the implementation of the program at the national and local level, to develop proposals for its dissemination in the Russian Federation, as well as to improve scientific knowledge about the causes of natural disasters and the consequences of natural hazards.
Holding this conference in Kazan is a worthy example of expanding international cooperation and joint partnership activities of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of risk management of natural and man-made emergencies.
The delegation of the All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, headed by Irina Oltyan, Deputy Head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the Russian State Emergency Situations Research Institute, participated in the conference.
After the scientific battles, the delegation of the State Research Institute of Emergency Situations visited the Crisis Management Center of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, the participants of the conference, including the leadership of the State Research Institute of Emergency Situations, went to Tetyushi to get acquainted with the activities of the Tetyushi State College of Civil Protection, on the basis of which a specialized competence center "Rescue Work" is equipped.
