Specialists of the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan flew around the "water" areas of Tatarstan on a MI-8-MTV-1 helicopter of the aviation link of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. The task is to monitor the flood situation of small and large rivers of the republic and to examine the settlements, which in the past years were approached by meltwater.
The flight route covered the most vulnerable areas of the Volga region for flooding. After taking off from the site of the GIMS Center of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, the helicopter went to Buinsk, then flew around the Apastovo area, studied the coastline at the Kama Estuary. After that, the board headed for Sviyazhsk and Zelenodolsk.
Intensive rise of water levels continues on the rivers of the republic. Over the past day, the water levels on the rivers of the republic increased by 5-39 cm, on the Sviyaga, Mesha, Toima, Maly Cheremshan and Aktay rivers, the water profit for the day was from 65 to 147 cm.
A drop in the height of water levels by 16-86 cm per day was observed on the Anzirka, St.Zai, Melya and Menzel rivers.
As of 08.00 on April 5, water levels on the rivers were observed at levels below the average long-term maximum values by 39-400 cm and everywhere below the dangerous values.
As of 08: 00 on April 5, 2021, on the Kubnya River-GP Chuteevo (Chuteevo village, Kaibitsky MR of the Republic of Tatarstan), the water outlet to the floodplain remains, the floodplain is flooded to a depth of 60 cm (the current level is below the dangerous level mark by 93 cm).
