During the training camp, rescue divers of the Search and Rescue Service under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan confirmed the right to access the management and maintenance of diving descents. To do this, they had to pass exams on knowledge of theory and practical skills.
The qualification was confirmed by 45 divers from the Zonal search and rescue teams of the Search and Rescue Service under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Special attention was paid to the knowledge of the basics of diving medicine, the actions of the insured diver in the event of an emergency, as well as actions in the event of an emergency with a working diver.
Practical activities were carried out at depths of up to 12 meters. In Naberezhnye Chelny, the Kama River became a "training ground". Among the test standards are ship-lifting operations with the help of a parachute-type pontoon, ostropka (fixing) and lifting of large-sized cargo, installation and dismantling of a flanged connection under water, rescue diving operations with first aid to the victim, search operations to search for submerged objects.
According to the results of the training sessions, all 45 Tatarstan rescue divers confirmed their basic diving qualifications and confirmed their right to access the management, maintenance, and medical support of diving descents. The next certification will take place in 2022.
