As part of the events in honor of the World Civil Defense Day, the management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Zelenodolsk Municipal District organized a tour for media representatives through the labyrinths of the underground protective structure.
Representatives of almost all media outlets of the small satellite city of Kazan decided to explore the "bunker" - as journalists often call the protective structure. The topic is interesting, especially since there are still some "sharks of the feather" who are sure that the "bomb shelters" have been abandoned since Soviet times, and that only ghosts or stalkers can live there, who eat up the local rats, or vice versa.
Nzelenodolsk is one of the eight categorized cities of the Republic of Tatarstan for civil defense. This means that the city has a defense, economic, administrative and political significance for the security and defense of the country. And therefore, there are as many defensive structures here as there are large defense and life-supporting enterprises.
Vyacheslav Dolganov, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan for the Zelenodolsk district, kindly agreed to organize a press tour and opened the massive doors of the protective structure of JSC "Zelenodolsk Design Bureau"for journalists.
When the group with photo and video cameras entered the working room of the protective structure, they saw clean, illuminated rooms. It was warm and dry, so they didn't need the rubber boots some of the reporters had on.
With the help of a generator in the shelter, the ventilation system begins to function - both conventional and anti-radiation, depending on what weapons, God forbid, we can (if they can, of course) hit the potential aggressors.
The faces of many young media representatives showed that they had just discovered something very important and unknown.
