The search and rescue service of the EMERCOM of Russia was created on July 28, 1992. On that day, Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 528 "On improving the activities of tourist and climbing rescue services, points and centers" was issued.
Over the years, the search and rescue service of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia has continuously developed, which was facilitated by the regular updating of the regulatory framework. Including, to improve the activities of rescuers.
Almost all rescuers of the detachment have departmental awards of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
During the existence of the detachment, rescuers carried out more than 2000 search and rescue operations, including using canine calculations, saved more than 250 human lives.
