Today, in the Kamskoye Ustye all remember the victims of the largest disaster in the history of Russian river transport.
July 10, 2011-this day forever tragically changed the lives of many people and their families: nine years ago, near the village Syukeyevo, the diesel-electric ship Bulgaria sank, with 201 people on Board. 122 people died, including 28 children. 79 people were rescued by the crew of the passing ship "Arabella" under the leadership of captain Roman Lizalin.
Today the head of the region Nail Vazhov, chief state inspector of RT for small vessels Yuri Venediktov, representatives of ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan residents of the area, relatives of passengers of the ill-fated ship, gathered at the memorial complex, erected in memory of those died on the ship "Bulgaria" on the Volga river bank opposite the wreck. People brought flowers and lit candles.
Bouquets and flowers from the participants of the rally lay on the pedestal to the memorial, which is carved with 122 names.
