Quite an unusual case occurred in the rural settlement Otar-Dubrovka of Pestrecy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. At a rural gathering at the end of last year, residents of the village decided to "chip in" for ... a fire truck. And now the villagers are collecting money for the entire village and for the fire station.
In 2010, we had burned down four houses, and two years later, the fire destroyed two more residential buildings. It was necessary to do something to protect the villagers from the fire. "Brainstorming" determined the most optimal solution, in our opinion, is to fork out the entire village to buy their own fire truck."
"When we made all the necessary calculations, it turned out that each adult resident of the village "owed" only 500 rubles. A large task and a small amount became decisive in the unanimous decision of the villagers. Thus, we collected 180 thousand rubles from the population. The government of the Republic of Tatarstan has added another 720 thousand rubles, according to the program of self-taxation. Total – 900 thousand rubles. These funds were just enough for us to purchase a fire truck ARS-14", - continued the story of the head of the rural settlement Fayaz Kalimullin.
At the village referendum, it was decided to allocate a land plot for the construction of a depot building for our fire truck. We managed to collect 165 thousand rubles. Under the self-taxation program, we expect a significant replenishment of funds from the national budget.
