Today, the First squad of the Federal fire service has eight families that continue the dynasty of firefighters.
One of them is the family Meretyakovs. The senior representative of the dynasty, Vladimir Vasilyevich, fully understood the difficulties of the profession - he served in the fire Department for almost thirty years. He started after the army in the fire Department of Kazan. The difficult task of the firefighter turned out to be quite to the liking of the young man, but he was drawn closer to his native places - he was born and raised in the village of Kamskiye Polyany. In 1972, he made a transfer to Nizhnekamsk, in the First detachment of the paramilitary fire protection. He served in the fire Department No. 29, which guards industrial facilities of Nizhnekamskneftekhim as a firefighter, senior firefighter, Department commander. In addition, he was actively engaged in fire-applied sports.
- At that time, the service in the fire Department was not easy, as the city was being built, petrochemical production facilities were being launched, fires were frequent, but despite the risk and danger, I always went to work with a desire. - Vladimir Vasilyevich remembers.
After a hard day of service at home, his wife, Galina Kuzminichna, was waiting for him.
The eldest-Valery-works in law enforcement agencies, lives in St. Petersburg, he has a strong family – two daughters. But the youngest son, Ruslan, has already devoted 22 years to fire protection. He served as the head of the guard, Deputy head of unit No. 78. And when in 2009 the chief left for a well-deserved rest, Meretyakov was entrusted to head the division. And they were not mistaken.
Here he met his other half-the beautiful Gulnara. She works as an engineer in the Department of fire prevention in SRU-57, experience in fire protection-15 years.
Meanwhile, the founder of the family dynasty Vladimir Vasilyevich does not sit at home. Having a lot of combat experience, he teaches mentoring lessons to young firefighters.
