A task force of the Mamadysh fire and rescue garrison was sent to the site.

Upon arrival, it was found that an ice jam was formed on the bend of the Vyatka river (4 meters high, 400 to 600 meters wide) near the mouth of the Arpach river, as a result of which the water came to the floodplain near the settlements of Grishkino, Malmyzhka, Yakovka of the Mamadysh district and broke the way to the Vyatka river below the jam.
There is also a rise in the water level on the Vyatka river near the village of Lubyany, Kukmor district. The water level as of 20.00 01.04.2020 is 681 cm (+5 cm) for 4 hours. The critical level is 750 cm.
Monitoring is organized through the heads of rural settlements and elders (every 2 hours) the water level on the Vyatka river is about n. p. Yakovka, Grishkino, Malmyzhka, and also near the locality of Lubyany (every 4 hours). There are no flooded houses or homesteads.
First Deputy head of the main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia for RT, Colonel of the internal service Irek kadamov and Deputy Minister for civil DEFENSE and emergency situations of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Surzhko are on site to guide and coordinate the work.
On April 2, the demolition team of the Kazan higher tank command school of the Russian defense Ministry planned to carry out explosive work.
