CONGRATULATION OF THE MINISTER OF EMERCOM OF RUSSIA EVGENY SENICHEV WITH THE WORLD CIVIL DEFENSE DAY
Dear colleagues, dear veterans!
Every year, March 1 marks world civil defense day, established by the International civil defense organization.
Over the years of cooperation with WCDD, the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia has done significant work to strengthen international activities in the field of disaster prevention and response, including the introduction of new methods and technologies for protecting people and territories from emergency situations, conducting humanitarian operations abroad, and improving the human resources of rescue services in WCDD member countries.
The main result of our United work is saved lives, reduced number of victims of emergency situations around the world, and increased resilience to disasters and catastrophes.
I am sure that the Russian emergencies Ministry will increase its efforts to strengthen cooperation with organizations and emergency services in the international arena.
I cordially congratulate all the veterans and the staff of the EMERCOM of Russia on the world civil defense day!
