“SISV of RT” rescuers are active participants in preventive work on ice safety
Rescuers of the regional public organization " SISV of RT " within the framework of the project "safety at water bodies covered with ice", which received a grant of the President of the Russian Federation, jointly with the inspectors Centre SISV of EMERCOM of Russia in Republic of Tatarstan, Department of the state control, supervision and protection of aquatic biological resources in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kazan linear Department of the MIA of Russia on transport conducted a patrol of mass gathering places of fishermen on the ice on the river Kazanka and the Volga river.
During patrols, SISV rescuers conducted preventive conversations with fishermen about the need to comply with safety requirements, distributed memos with rules of behavior on the ice, and conducted training in the rules of rescue and self-rescue in case of failure under the ice. In total, more than 300 people were covered.
