The most prestigious winter tournament in Russia – the XVI all-Russian competition for the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan in fire-applied sports-has started in Kazan
The tournament has again shown its importance as one of the best in Russia. After all, it is in Kazan that the winter season of Russian fire-applied sports traditionally opens. Representatives of 25 teams from different regions of the Russian Federation, higher and special educational institutions of the EMERCOM of Russia were in the ranks during the opening ceremony of the competition in the training arena оf the main Department of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, the drawing of the Cup of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan expanded the borders of Russia – an athlete from Germany Jonas Mede showed up for the tournament. And in just two days of competition, more than 500 participants will enter the fight.
After the end of the opening ceremony, the men's races in the 100-meter obstacle course began.
Recall that the teams are composed of adult athletes-men and women, as well as boys and girls. The winner of the team competition and the winner of the honorary trophy is determined by the sum of the best results of all team members. Winners of individual competitions will receive medals and awards.
Tomorrow will be competitions on the rise of a hook ladder into the window of the training tower, followed by a closing ceremony and awarding of winners.
The honorary trophy, which is awarded to the winning team of this tournament by the head of the Republican Government, has the status of a passing one. The team that has managed to reach the highest level of the podium three times gets the Cup for eternal possession.
