Today in the Alekseevsk district on the Kama river rescuers evacuated to the shore the fishermen, who fell under the ice

The message to the emergency call "112" about the incident on the Kama river near the settlement Alekseevskoye service was received at 7.45 on December 9 from eyewitnesses who saw those in trouble from the shore.

In place of the left rescuers of ZSRU №3 on a hovercraft "Hivus-6", the operative group of Alekseevsky district and physicians from Alekseevsk CRH. On arrival it became clear that one fisherman got out of the water himself, the second victim was helped to get out by eyewitnesses. However, the men were exhausted and were afraid because of the thin ice (only 5 cm) not to reach the shore. Rescuers brought both victims to the shore and handed over to emergency workers. Both men were taken to the emergency room of the Alekseevsk CRH. They did not need hospitalization.

This section of the Kama the maximum thickness of ice is only 5 cm, so with such a thickness of ice, access to the ice is prohibited and dangerous to life.

The main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan warns:

In the period of fluctuation of day and night temperatures to positive values to go on the ice is extremely dangerous. However, many people neglect precautions and go out on the fragile ice, thereby putting their lives in mortal danger.
