Today 22 of June our country celebrates the Day of memory and grief. On this day, German troops invaded the territory of the USSR without declaring war. The memorable date is declared in 1996 by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation. Rallies and actions were held across the country today. The memory of the victims was honored today in all units of the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan. Firefighters and rescuers carried out traditional actions "Candle of memory", visited the veterans of war and fire protection.
In Zelenodolsk fire and rescue garrison early in the morning about four o'clock in the morning firefighters laid out the word "Remember" from the lit candles. Also on the territory of the 52nd fire and rescue unit, employees of the 8th squad of the Federal fire service held an action in memory of all those who died during the great Patriotic war, those who gave their lives in numerous battles, died in the rear from hunger and deprivation. To the monument dedicated to war veterans, firefighters laid flowers and lit candles.
