Rafis Khabibullin, head of the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the situation with fires and deaths on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan at a meeting in the House of the Government of Tatarstan.
The growth of fire made in 33 municipalities, including Aznakayevo, Vysokogorsk, Cheremshan, Sarmanovo, Bavly and Atna.
The number of people died in fires in comparison with the same period last year increased by 30% - from 53 to 69.
The increase in the death of people in fires is observed in 18 municipalities, including 3 municipalities allowed the death of children (Kazan, Kukmor district, Apastovo district).
"In the next two weeks, high air temperatures are projected to reach 25-27 degrees. May holidays continue, and a large number of citizens will travel to nature and to the country, in this regard, I ask you to pay close attention to the issues of fire safety" - Rafis Habibullin said.
