At the Interdepartmental Commission under the leadership of Igor Panshin preparations for the spring flood and fire season are discussed
On March 21, 2019, a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on protection of population and territories from emergency situations and fire safety under the Plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal district was held. Meeting in the videoconference was chaired by Deputy Plenipotentiary of RF President in Volga Federal district Igor Panshin. Igor Kutrovsky, first Deputy head of the Ministry of emergency situations, took part in the work of the Interdepartmental Commission.
From the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting was attended by the head of the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia on RT General-the Lieutenant of internal service Rafis Khabibullin and Deputy head of Supervisory activities of the Main Department of EMERCOM of Russia on RT Colonel of internal service Maxim Trushin.
One of the most pressing issues today is the prevention and elimination of the consequences of heavy snowfalls. Igor Panshin recalled the emergency situation in the Saratov region, where it was necessary to attract equipment of the Ministry of defense and EMERCOM of Russia. Roman Busargin, Deputy Chairman of the government of the Saratov region, spoke in more detail about the complex of activities carried out by the territorial subsystem of the RSES.
During the meeting, reports of representatives of the competent authorities on topical issues were heard and the main directions of joint work for the coming period were discussed.
