Among the main causes of death in the fire – Smoking at home being drunk
Today's briefing was devoted to the prevention of death in fires, during which the Deputy head of the Department of supervision and preventive work of the main Department of EMERCOM of Russia on RT Colonel of internal service Maxim Trushchin announced the disappointing results of the first two months of 2019.
- Among the main reasons:
- violation of the rules of technical operation of electrical equipment-168 fires (26,7%);
- violation of fire safety rules in the design and operation of furnaces-126 fires (20%);
- violation of the rules of construction and operation of vehicles – 30 fires (4.8%).
- arson-17 fires (2,7%);
Since the beginning of 2019, there were 5 fires with group death, the victims of which were 10 people (2 people – Kazan, 2 people – Pestretcy MR, 2 people – Laish MR, 2 people - Leninogorsk MR, 2 people - Kukmor MR) (APPG – 3 with the death of 7 people).
The main causes of fires that led to the death of people were:
- careless handling of fire - killed 26 people (63.4% of the total number of deaths);
- violation of the rules of the device and operation of electrical equipment and household appliances - 8 dead (19.5%);
- violation of the rules of construction and operation of gas equipment – 3 dead (7.3%).
