Conditional fire at JSC "TANECO" eliminated with foam attack
In 21th February in Nizhnekamsk to a Visbreaking plant of JSC "TANECO" was held ostentatious fire-tactical exercises, which involved fire crews from 13 fire and rescue parts of the first detachment of the Federal fire service and rescuers, medics and security of public order. The course of the exercise was observed by the Acting Deputy head of the main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan for the state fire service, Colonel of internal service Konstantin Chanyshev.
According to the tactical plan of the organizers of the exercise at the Visbreaking installation, as a result of an accident, a civilian car damaged the hot pump pipeline with the product (tar). As a result, the product was ignited, followed by bottling and burning over the entire area of the pump room, conditionally.
"Such events are held regularly. In the fire-tactical exercises we work out interdepartmental cooperation, which is very important in possible emergency situations. Only coordination of work of all services allows to save people and not to allow serious consequences on such important objects" - the chief of the First group of Federal fire service Alexey Shapovalov commented.
