Focus on saving people: the trainings in the Courtyard by Marriott Kazan Kremlin hotel
Another large-scale fire-tactical exercises were held today almost under the walls of the Kazan Kremlin on Karl Marx street in the Courtyard by Marriott Kazan Kremlin.
According to the" legend " of the exercises, in one of the hotel rooms on the 4th floor there was a fire. At the place of ignition smoke was formed. According to the staff, in the unfortunate room had to be a guest. Two more people were "cut off" from the escape routes due to smoke. They opened the Windows and begged for help.
At the time of the incident, an automatic fire alarm and voice warning system were triggered. The hotel staff responsible for security started the organized evacuation of guests and staff. More than 80 people were taken out of the building.
- The emphasis during the exercises was made on the rescue and evacuation of victims, - said the head of the exercises, Deputy head of the fire service of the 7th detachment of the Federal fire service in the Republic of Tatarstan, major of internal service Alexei Budaev. He also praised the actions of the hotel staff, who organized the notification and evacuation of guests as soon as possible. In this way the evacuation was free, and the emergency exits opened on time.
