“Scones”, “doughnuts”, “buns”, and “bagels”.
Such a harmless name given to the people is dangerous inflatable sled tubing.
We remind, on January 1, on the territory of sports and entertainment complex "Snezhynka" in Almetyevsk 23-year-old girl received severe fractures after she rolled down the mountainside on an inflatable tubing and hit the metal structure. The victim was evacuated to hospital. Now she is in intensive care in a serious condition.
Remember! Unfortunately, the rubber tubing is not equipped with a brake device, and therefore completely out of control. In addition, the" doughnut" can be easily dispersed to 40-50 km/h. This is the main risk of injury. And even more irresponsible is not enough serious attitude of adults when they do not care about the safety of their children, allowing them to slide down a steep hill filled with a crowd of people climbing the slope, which still has various obstacles – trees, metal structures, concrete pillars. Of course, in this case it is very risky to ride not only on the tubing, but also on the usual sled, skiing, snowboarding, etc.
Therefore, rescuers recommend to ride only on prepared tracks that are closed, where there are pits, bumps, protruding bushes, and stones. The angle of descent should not exceed 20 degrees. Ideally, protective equipment is used, as in skiing and snowboarding. Children under 12 years old need to ride strictly in a protective helmet.
