26 December 2018, Wednesday

On December 26, 2018, an ice crossing way was opened in Mamadyshsky district, across the Kama river along the route: Sokolka village - Novo - Zakamsky village, on the border with Nizhnekamsk district. Around the clock, with a permissible mass of vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Open ice road can significantly reduce the path on the highway M-7. Thus, thanks to the "natural" road, the distance from Mamadyshsky to Nizhnekamsk municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan is reduced to 100 km.

Pedestrians can also use the ice road, but they should only move on special roads laid on the sides of the lane.

On crossings it is strictly forbidden:

- make holes for fishing and other purposes;

- crossing and moving in unprotected and unprotected places;

- travel by crossing buses and cars with passengers.

Passengers must exit before getting on the ferry.

In addition, it is necessary to remember the danger of traffic on vehicles through unauthorized ice crossings. After all, once, shortening the way, you can end the life of yourself or your family.
