Recall, that on October 10 an activist of Amateur Fishery Federation, Sergey Yelesin, was murdered by the hands of drunk malefactors. A few minutes until his death he had time to call 112 duty dispatch service and report on the danger. The dispatcher of 112 service received the call and warned the police of Laishevsky District. But bloggers and some media hurried to blame 112 service for not helping a person got in trouble.

— 112 service fully functions just in two regions of Russia for now: in Tatarstan and Kurskaya Oblast. We were the first to launch this project. Every month the number of calls to 112 is more and more. Only for 9 months of this year there was received more than 1 million 650 thousand calls. It’s more than 6 thousand calls every day. They were all received, worked up and sent, — finished his interview Oleg Stepuschenko.
