The so-called "corridor-type houses," or hostels, are constantly in the zone of close attention of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It is in such houses that fires often arise, as a result of which people can die. The peculiarities of the structures and planning of buildings and the contingent living here create additional risks in the event of fires in such houses.

EMERCOM employees check the presence of fire detectors in the housing of parents with many children, the serviceability of these devices. If necessary, install additional sensors.
