The legend of EMERCOM of Russia Dmitry Ivanovich Mikhailik gone
On January 11, at the 99th year of life Member of the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945, Deputy head of the civil defense of the USSR, a Member of the Board of EMERCOM of Russia and the military Council of rescue military units of EMERCOM of Russia, Chairman of the Central Council of veterans of EMERCOM of Russia Dmitry Ivanovich Mikhailik died.
Dmitry Ivanovich was born on 5 November in 1920 in the village Nagornovka of Sum area, Ukrainian Soviet socialist Republic.
The General-Lieutenant in resignation D. I. Mikhailik has dedicated his life to the service of the Motherland and finished military service in the post of Deputy head of the civil defense of the USSR, after, more than 25 years headed the Central Council of veterans of the EMERCOM of Russia.
For personal heroism, courage, long and impeccable service he was awarded 13 Orders of the USSR and the Russian Federation, as well as more than 40 military, state, departmental and public awards.
The farewell ceremony will be held from 10.00-11.00 on January 14, 2019 at the Troekurovsky cemetery (Moscow, Ryabinovaya street, 24).
