Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 72 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 30, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 12 fires, including residential sector – 7, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 2. 1 person was saved.

Today, more than hundred recruits of Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense familiarized with the job of emergency services of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. First of all, young rescuers saw sports center, where demonstrative runs were organized for them. Acquaintance with sport achievements of EMERCOM employees proceeded in the Hall of Fame of Applied Fire Sports Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On May 23, 2017 at 1.50 PM, report on fire in the ‘Kalkan’ police cadet school, which is located in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, was received via ‘Strelets-Monitoring’ software and hardware complex system. Fire departments arrived to the scene in 5 minutes. There was found short circuit in one of rooms on the 3rd floor. According to the evacuation plan, the school personnel led out the students.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 69 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 9, abandoned buildings extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 29, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires, including residential sector – 2, outhouses – 2, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 1. 2 persons died.

On May 24, 2017, duty operator of the 112 service, Milausha Mavletkilova, conducted a lesson for students of the 5th grade of the lyceum No. 5 of the city of Kazan on the theme ‘The role of 112 system in people’s life safety provision. Foreign experience in 911 and 112 numbers functioning’. During the lesson, she told about functioning of emergency services numbers in Tatarstan, sounded rules of calling 112, answered to students’ questions.

Employees of Kazan Department of the Center of GIMS EMERCOM RF for the Republic of Tatarstan came to such conclusion after the examination of the beach. As remarks they put down to the inspection protocol, absence of buoys, which denote swimming zone borders, informational stands, on which rules of behavior on the water should be published, were not designed, and fire shields were not equipped with all necessary fire equipment. But the rescue post and rescuers themselves were absolutely equipped. Total of 36 official beaches are planned to open this summer.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires, including residential sector – 1, outhouses – 2, vehicles – 1, various types of property – 1.

Incidents as of May 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 64 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 12, false alarms – 29, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires, including residential sector – 4, outhouses – 3, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 1, construction van – 1. 1 person was injured.

On May 19, a delegation of representatives of Samara Oblast headed by the Deputy Head of the Department of Public Security of Samara Oblast, I.B. Tkachenko, visited the Republic of Tatarstan with the aim to share experience in the field of creation and development of ‘Safe City’ hardware and software complex and the system of emergency services call services via 112 single number. The guests visited Technopark and the Crisis Management Center. During the meeting, there was shown GLONASS+112 presentation in 112-system’s calls processing center of the city of Kazan.

Employees of the 8th squad of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan held tactic fire drill in the building of the city school No. 15. The main theme is saving people and aid provision to the injured at the object with a massive stay of people during fire. The drill was scheduled, both children, and teachers in advance knew what to expect. Nevertheless, all the sides got to the point more than seriously. The main aim is to work up cooperation of employees of emergency services and pedagogues to avoid victims in case of a real accident.
