Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 79 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 46, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 13. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: private houses – 1, apartment buildings – 2, saunas – 1, garden houses – 1, vehicles – 1, other objects – 1. 1 person was saved.

On May 18, 2018 the traditional annual competitions of teams young firefighters among the eighth grades of schools of the city of Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk District were held. The competition was attended by 215 students, consisting of 31 teams. They were students of the eighth grades of schools of Nizhnekamsk Municipal District.

Including garbage extinguishing – 17, false alarms – 42, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires: private houses – 2, apartment buildings – 1, saunas – 4, outhouses – 2, other objects – 1.

Incidents as of May 19:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 87 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 20, false alarms – 40, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 11. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires: private houses – 2, saunas – 1, garden houses – 1, garages – 2, abandoned objects – 1.

Today in Kukmara District the competition on combat deployment within the final stage of the republican competition 'The best unit of the voluntary fire service of the Republic of Tatarstan' has ended. This year 44 teams fought for the right to be called the best team of voluntary fire service in Tatarstan.

On May 18, President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, Signed Decrees on the Composition of the New Government. In accordance with article 83, paragraph D of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, Zinichev was appointed Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Situations And Elimination of Disasters Consequences.

Inspectors of the Department of supervision and preventive work of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan conducted preventive measures at all the involved facilities, during which the condition of evacuation ways, the state of internal fire service, the presence of primary means of firefighting, with employees of organizations conducted briefings on fire safety measures.

52 Links of four people in each showed knowledge of theoretical baisics of gas and smoke service and demonstrated practical skills of a link in heat and smoke chamber. And also they saved a 'victim' and hit the target with a water jet.

Including garbage extinguishing – 18, false alarms – 50, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 9, others – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 10 fires: private houses – 2, apartment buildings – 1, saunas – 1, garden houses – 1, outhouses – 2, other objects – 3.

Heads and representatives of structural units of EMERCOM of RT and the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT, as well as representatives of interested ministries and departments, gathered at the unscheduled meeting. The Scientific and Technical Council of the republican emergency department gathered to listen to the speech of the professor of St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of EMERCOM of Russia, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Vladimir Zahmatov.
