On July 10, 2011, the diesel-electric ship 'Bulgaria' sank near the village of Syukeevo, there were 201 people on the board. 122 people died, including 28 children. 79 people were rescued by the crew of the 'Arabella' ship under the supervision of Captain Roman Lizalin. Today, the leadership and residents of the district, relatives and friends of the passengers of that ill-fated trip, representatives of ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan gathered on the territory of the memorial complex constructed in memory of the 'Bulgaria' ship victims.

Incidents as of July 9:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 84 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 20, short circuit – 2, meal burning – 7, cooperation with other services – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 2 fires: various buildings and constructions – 1, food enterprises – 1.

The team of the Republic of Tatarstan won the victory according to the results of interregional competitions in fire and rescue sport among Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia in Volga Federal District. Tatarstan appliers brought from Kirov 16 medals of various denominations and the cup of the tournament champion. 15 teams participated in the championship.

For the first days of arrival in children's health camps, EMERCOM staff conducts training sessions. One of the training sessions on evacuation took place in the sports and recreation camp 'Olympiets' in Nizhnekamsk district of the republic. After practical activities, there was held a general briefing on rules of behavior in case of an incident in the camp.

Including garbage extinguishing – 9, false alarms – 27, short circuit – 3, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 13, other – 1. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: residential sector – 4, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1.

Incidents as of July 6:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 71 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 32, short circuit – 3, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 16, other – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires: residential sector – 3, outhouses – 2.

Summer holidays are characterized by a lot of free time for children. During the summer holidays the number of accidents and various diseases with children significantly increases. This is primarily due to increased motor activity, with a desire to play more, learn and take risks. To forbid a child to move is impossible, it is easier to prevent a possible tragedy.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 52 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 14, short circuit – 3, meal burning – 6, cooperation with other services – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 12 fires: residential sector – 10.

Today, the drill was held in the children's summer camp 'Sosenka' of Kukmara municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the signal 'Alarm' the children under the guidance of the camp personnel left the buildings in an orderly manner and built at a safe distance. Immediately, a conditional fire was reported in one of the corps of the summer camp. Educators counted all the children on the lists. The staff showed correct actions in case of fire.
