Today from 11:00 the ice crossing Zelenodolsk - – Nishnie Vezovye  has officially opened. Now those who will not regret money will reduce the way from one to other coast of Volga by 70 kilometers and will save about an hour of driving the car. The ice road between Zelenodolsk and settlement the – Nishnie Vezovye  this year became the first crossing opened in the territory of the republic. Extent of the ice road is 1300 m, the Movement bilateral, width of one strip of 20 meters, distance between strips of 150 m. In comparison with last winter, the current opening has happened month earlier (last winter the crossing was opened only in January of this year). So far the crossing was opened only for motor transport weight not exceeding 2 tons.

Emergency situation: on the Volga River on ice crossing from the settlement. The  Nishnie Vezovye  towards Zelenodolsk the car with two passengers in interior has exceeded admissible speed and has made crash with in passing following car therefore the car with 3 people in interior has sustained major technical damages, are available clamped with injuries, there is ignition in motor compartment. The car has left lanes and has partially failed under ice.

According to an order of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan in interaction with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and also the enterprises and the organizations which are carrying out activity in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan collecting humanitarian aid was organized.

From the distribution center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Kazan shipment will be sent by truck of transport company to the place of formation humanitarian colon (State-owned federal state Institution Don Rescue Center of Emercom of Russia) in Rostov-on-Don. From there as a part of the humanitarian convoy freight will be delivered to the residents of southeast districts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine needing the help.
