Incidents as of September 29:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 121 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 20, dry grass extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 56, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 16. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 15 fires, including 6 in residential sector.

Risking their lives, firefighters of FD-56 of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny rescued two workers from death. They were making repairs in sewage well and poisoned by congested toxic gas vapor. Commander of the guard Konstantin Vanyurikhin and senior firefighter Ivan Nechaev ran to the scene. The fire department was not far from it. The repairmen neglected safety measures and worked without respiratory organs protecting equipment.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 113 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 33, abandoned building extinguishing – 1, dry grass extinguishing – 3, eddish extinguishing – 1, forest litter extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 40, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, singed meal – 1, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, including 6 in residential sector, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 2. 2 people died.

Carelessness of the very citizens caused death and injury of people in fires.

EMERCOM employees took active part in mass running in cities and districts of the republic. At that, workers of the emergency department came to the start of All-Russian running together with their families. This traditional wide-scale sport event took place in 84 cities throughout Russia. Participants were welcomed by Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Vasil Shaikhraziev, Director of Department of Physical Culture and Mass Sport Development of Ministry of Sport of Russia, Marina Tomilova, the First Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan, Halil Shaykhutdinov.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 95 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 29, false alarms – 39, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, singed meal – 3, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, including 3 in residential sector, outhouses – 4. 1 person was injured.

Incidents as of September 24:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 81 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 12, dry grass extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 23, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, singed meal – 8, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 6 fires, including 3 in residential sector. 1 person died.

Another drill on evacuation and actions in case of an emergency was organized in the Universiade Village. The staff, students and visitors of educational laboratory building of Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism were the participants of the drill.

Including burning garbage extinguishing – 13, dry grass extinguishing – 2, false alarms – 24, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, singed meal – 4, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, including 3 in residential sector. 1 person was saved.

EMERCOM staff registered all places of celebration events. The Feast of the Sacrifice will take place in 43 municipal districts, as well as in the cities of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny at 998 religious objects on the territory of the republic. The duty of 998 EMERCOM employees was organized at the places of feast events. There was ascertained that there are 103 violations of fire safety rules at the objects.
