Floods situation is controlled from 28 hydroposts of Office of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan. In Kuybyshevskoe Reservoir the water level near the settlement of Verkhny Uslon is 53,69 m (0 cm), its upper critical point is 54.24 m. In Nizhnekamskoe Reservoir the water level near the city of Naberezhnye Chelny is 63,72 m (-18 cm), its upper critical point is 65.9 m. Lower tail water level at Nizhnekamsk HPP is 58,22 m (+36 cm), its upper critical point is 60 m.
