Floods situation is controlled from 28 hydroposts of Office of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan. In Kuybyshevskoe Reservoir the water level near the settlement of Verkhny Uslon is 53,77 m (+2 cm), its upper critical point is 54.24 m. In Nizhnekamskoe Reservoir the water level near the city of Naberezhnye Chelny is 63,75 m (-3 cm), its upper critical point is 65.9 m. Lower tail water level at Nizhnekamsk HPP is 58,14 m (-11 cm), its upper critical point is 60 m.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 89 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing - 19, false calls – 36, dry grass – 2, food burning – 5, short circuit of wiring without burning - 1, on interaction with other services - 10 times, on short circuit without burning - 3 times, the others - 12. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 4 fires, residential sector – 1 fires, outdoor constructions - 1 fire. One person was injured. Two people were saved.
Within a Year of fire protection in system of Emercom of Russia in the Center of fire-prevention promotion and public relations of FKU "Control center of crisis situations of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on RT" there take place festive excursions.
According to Federal State Budgetary Institution Management on Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of Environment of the Republic of Tatarstan in the second half of day and in the evening on May 12, with preservation at night on May 13, 2016 in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan while passing active frontal sections by places thunder-storms, a hail, a heavy rain, short-term strengthenings of wind till 15-20, locally to 24 m/s are expected.

On May 9 in Kazan the All-Russian action "Immortal Regiment" has once again taken place. Without breaking tradition, as a part of "An immortal regiment" there has passed the staff of the Head department of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, groups of the Federal fire service and other subordinated divisions.
The festive events devoted to the 71st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War has begun on May 9. Morning started with creation of staff of troops of the Kazan garrison and a prolog of a holiday in which about 2000 people were involved.
On May 9 from the international airport "Kazan" to Chita of Zabaykalsky the Il-76 plane of Emercom of Russia onboard which there is a group of paraborne fire service FBU "Avialesookhrana" in number of 100 people with all necessary equipment and the forest fire equipment has taken off.
On May 9 at 10:00 in Bugulma the ceremony on flower-laying to a stele of the Hero of the Soviet Union Gazinur Gafiatullin who in the years of war saved hundreds of lives of fellow soldiers.
