Emergency department marks pen virtuosos, masters of reporting, skillful press photographers, radio broadcasters and emergency bloggers for the best coverage of the work of firefighters and rescuers for the eighth time. The awards ceremony took place in the Fame Hall of Applied Fire Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Chief of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Khabibullin marked the necessity of close and fruitful work in the field of informing population on prevention against fires, emergency situations and safety provision on water bodies.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 44 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 13, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 11. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires, including residential sector – 2, outhouses – 2, vehicles – 1, garden houses – 1.

The ceremony of giving new types of fire and rescue technique to employees of departments of Kazan Fire and Rescue Garrison of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan in the honor of Rescuer’s Day of the Russian Federation took place on the square before “Kazan” family center. Key to the automobiles were given by the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov. Those 16 fire and rescue cars for various purposes were bought by the order of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.

At 11.26 P.M. on December 26, 2016, there was received report about a house burning in Kirovsky District in the city of Kazan. As a result of the fire the house’s lobby, kitchen, a part of the wall and ceiling of a room on the area of 20 sq. m burned down. Until the first fire departments arrived three men had died (they worn winter clothes and shoes). Preliminary cause of the fire is being ascertained.

Today, state employees of EMERCOM of the Republic of Tatarstan gathered in “Burevestnik” swimming pool to pass final test of “Ready for Labour and Defence” All-Russian physical culture training program. Depending on age groups, participants passed tests on leaning forward with legs straight on a gym bench of the floor, crunch, inverted row, push-up.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires, including outhouses – 2, vehicles – 1.

Incidents as of December 22:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 47 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 17, short circuit of wiring without burning – 5, meal burning – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 15 fires, including residential sector – 9. 1 person died. 1 person was rescued.

Solemn events, dedicated to acceptance to the lines of EMERCOM cadets, are held in Vasilyevo Cadet School No. 1 of Zelenodolsk District of Tatarstan annually. This time the ceremony was attended by 76 cadets, including 17 girls. Deputy Chief of the 8 squad of federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan, Captain of inner service, Ilshat Shakirov, congratulated the children with the significant event. Cadets’ parents, friends, students of senior grades came to support.
