An activity dedicated to Day of Older Persons was organized and held on October 1 in Naberezhnye Chelny fire protection garrison. The garrison consists of about 302 pensioners; including 58 ones of old age. The festive event took place in “Rodnik” house of culture. Acting chief of the garrison, Alexei Yashchuk, congratulated the veterans on behalf of the active employees.

The summing-up of the competition among companies for the best maintenance and the state of readiness of civil defense structures took place on the eve of 82th Anniversary celebration of Civil Defense Day of Russia in Volga Regional Center of EMERCOM of Russia. Representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan were also among the winners.

Today, on International Day of Older Persons, EMERCOM employees try not to ignore single pensioners and the disabled that live in private houses. Head of the fire department number 124 of FFS for RT himself visited pensioners. Since older people have poor memory, EMERCOM employees give owners anti-fire reminders and instructions on how to act in case of fire.

In Rybno-Slobodskoy District, employees of supervisory activities invited to the local club and talked to them about the subject of fire safety measures in the home. According to GPN inspectors, they will better again warn pensioners than put out a fire.

The fate of Nikolai Yakovlevich Alexandrov is covered by fires of front and fire routine. The history of the firefighter that spent his youth defending the borders of his Motherland and devoted labor years rescuing lives must become an example of courage and faithful service for the younger generation. Recently, the veteran who spearheaded the formation of the detachment, has celebrated his jubilee – he is 90 years old! Colleagues from the second squad of FFS of SFS for RT, members of city Council of Veterans and head of Almetyevsky Municipal District, Mazit Salikhov, came to congratulate the veteran with an impressive date.

Incidents for September 30:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia on the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 66 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 9. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 5 fires, 2 of them in the residential sector.

Causes of the fires are following: careless handling of fire – 2, violation of household gas equipment use rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 26 times. 1 person was rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 1.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: door unblocking – 3, searching operations on the water – 1, traffic accident – 2, lesson – 1.

Today, HQ EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a lesson in the frame of service training, dedicated to 82th Anniversary celebration of civil defense establishment in Russia. The staff acquainted with Geneva Convention of 12.08.1949, international rules and regulations for civil defense, requirements of laws and regulations of the Russian Federation in the field of civil defense. Recall that the reference point in the history and development of CD is considered to be October 4, 1932.

On the eve of 82th Anniversary of Civil Defense Day of Russia, on September 30, EMERCOM of Russia spends All-Russian Day of Civil Defense Knowledge with carrying out thematic lessons for civil defense in educational institutions. And from October 4 to 8, there will be held activities in the frame of All-Russian Training for Civil Defense in the Republic of Tatarstan. Federal executive bodies, executive bodies of all subjects of the Russian Federation and bodies of local self-government will be involved in the wide-scale trainings.

Student of cadet classes of EMERCOM of Kazan school number 99 spent a flashmob on the streets of the city on fire safety, and then they passed the baton to cadets from another regions of Russia. Kazan park of Uritsky was unusually crowded. The children attracted attention not only by the cadet uniform but by a massive parade march through the drumming and an incendiary dance. They decided to remind adults about children safety, and propagandize fire safety measures and single emergency call number “112” by such an extraordinary way. While one were dancing, another cadets were distributing an evident propaganda to adults and children.

Causes of the fires are following: violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 1, violation of electrical equipment use rules – 1, violation of fire safety rules during electrical appliance use – 1, arson – 1, defect in heating furnace – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 11 times. 3 persons were rescued.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 6 times. Including: door unblocking – 4, searching operations on the water – 1, traffic accident – 1.

Firefighters and rescuers worked out fire extinguishing and people rescuing, and the students learned to evacuate the building of the academy in case of emergency situation during the educational process. Such a training lesson in the building of Volga Region Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism took place in the frame of “Say No to Extremism” month, today. Firefighters and rescuers showed the attendants on the street capabilities of the apparatus and the staff during fire extinguishing and people rescuing. Their contemporaries – members of volunteer fire team of the academy – taught students how to use a fire extinguisher.
