Preparing to publish a book dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Soviet fire service was one of the main issues which participants of the gathering of chairmen of the Board of Veterans of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for subjects of Volga Federal Okrug discussed in Kazan. Head of veterans organizations will stay in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan until June 9.

Incidents as of June 7:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 60 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 8, false alarms – 18, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 17. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires, including residential sector – 3, outhouses – 2, various types of property – 1.

Within the charity action organized to the International Children’s Day, the staff of all zonal search and rescue squads of the republic collected children’s clothes and toys for the children of ‘Akcharlak’ orphanage of Rybnaya Sloboda Municipal District. 432 toys and 297 items of clothes were collected for them. The head of Search and Rescue Service under EMERCOM RT, Ilham Nasibullin, thanked the staff for warm treat to the children.

Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 15. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including residential sector – 6, outhouses – 1. 1 person died. 1 person was saved.

Garrison contests of crews of gas and smoke service passed in Nizhnekamsk on a training polygon of the 1st squad of the federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan. 52 crews competed for the title of the best. The beginning of practical exercises was overcoming fire course. In short time with zero visibility firefighters conducted scouting in the heat and smoke chamber. Then, crews held forces and means deployment for extinguishing conditional fire. The last exercise was hitting targets with hand fire barrels.

Including garbage extinguishing – 7, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 21. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 7 fires, including residential sector – 3, outhouses – 1, vehicles – 1.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 42 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 3, false alarms – 8, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 3, cooperation with other services – 13. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 8 fires, including residential sector – 2, outhouses – 4.

Incidents as of June 3:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 45 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 5, false alarms – 19, short circuit of wiring without burning – 3, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 7. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 5 fires, including residential sector – 1, outhouses – 2, garden houses – 2. 2 persons died.

Today, employees of supervisory affairs and preventive work department of Kirov District of the city of Kazan held a demonstrative raid for journalists to inform Kazanians and republic residents about total readiness of children health camps, locating in forest zone of the lake Lebyazhye, to receive children and their safe holidaymaking. All scheduled inspections of camps in the republic, which began in the beginning of April finished in the end of May. All of 1,256 camps, including school camps, are used with no violations of fire safety requirements.

Damaged 26 power lines supports were recovered. 83 houses, 195 people, including 13 children, in two settlements remain without power supply. Recovery works continue. Power supply recovery in settlements will end approximately at 3.00 P.M. on June 2, 2017.
