The project was organized within the Year of Civil Defense in the system of EMERCOM of Russian and before the Rescuer’s Day of the Russian Federation, the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the ‘Telesem’ (Kazan) magazine’s editorial office. The organizers want to show readers of the Woman’s Day internet edition that not only brave and courageous, but also clever and beautiful women work in the emergency department.

The winner of the interregional stage of IХ All-Russian ‘Courage Constellation’ Festival in the nomination of ‘Peer Into Hero’s Face’ photo contest, own photojournalist in Kazan of the regional department of ‘Russia Today’ news agency, Maksim Bogodvid, will represent Tatarstan at the awards ceremony, which will take place in Moscow on December 4. One of his work series showed in the contest is called ‘Faces of Heroes’. On his photos there are firefighters and rescuers, whose life is a real feat in the name of rescuing those who got into trouble.

Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 15, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: garden houses – 2, vehicles – 1.

The regional stage of IX All-Russian Festival on Safety of People Rescue ‘Courage Constellation’ has finished. The best by professions were identified.

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: bathhouses – 2, private houses – 1, vehicles – 1.

Incidents as of November 11:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 32 times. Including false alarms – 19. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 4 fires: residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, various types of property – 1. 1 person died. 5 people were saved.

In connection with tragic events happened in Udmurt Republic, the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan reminds basic rules of using gas appliances at home. Learning by doing shows that the most part of emergency calls, fires and accidents of poisoning with carbon monoxide is connected not only with direct violation of using gas at home, but also with unauthorized replacement, installation and maintenance of gas equipment (gas pump, boilers, stoves).

Firefighters of the republic eliminated 1 fire in outhouses.

On November 8, employees of the supervisory affairs department held a conference with seniors of houses of Komsomolsky District with representatives of ‘Zhilkomservis’ housing company within the ‘Zhilische-2017’ operation. They discussed about the maintenance of territories around entrances, basements, attics of residential buildings, fire safety rules during the usage of electric equipment, gas equipment, smoking when drunk, children’s pranks and others.
