Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 33 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 4, false alarms – 11, short circuit of wiring without burning – 2, meal burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 5. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 3 fires: apartment houses – 2, vehicles – 1. 1 person died.

The first day of the VI ‘Young Professionals’ Regional Championship (WorldSkills Russia) of the Republic of Tatarstan 2017-2018 on the ‘Rescue Works’ competence finished in the Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense. The competitions were attended by 25 young professionals, future rescuers, as well as 15 participants of the ‘WorldSkills Junior’ Championship. The participants competed in putting on firefighter clothes, providing first aid and knitting alpine knot.

25 young professionals and 15 participants of the ‘Worldskills Junior’ championship contest in the Tetyushi State College of Civil Defense in the ‘Rescue Works’ competence. The championship includes in total 91 competences for participants at the age from 16 to 22, as well as 23 competences in the ‘Worldskills Junior’ direction, which are attended by participants at the age from 14 to 16. 945 participants compete at those grounds, and 837 experts assess them. Today there was the solemn opening of the championship.

Dew to setting lower air temperatures in lakes, ponds, waters with slow water flow on the republic’s territory, there is a process of freezing over. In addition, the set air temperature is not enough for strong and safe ice cover formation. In order to prevent accidents connected with walking on thin ice in municipal districts, mobile patrol crews work on that every day. During the winter period of 2017-2018, 4 ice passages are going to be examined in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Including garbage extinguishing – 6, false alarms – 20, short circuit of wiring without burning – 0, meal burning – 0, cooperation with other services – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 1 fire in a private house.

Senior duty officer of the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant-Colonel of Inner Service, Rinat Sabitkarimov, has become the winner of the regional stage of the All-Russian Festival of EMERCOM of Russia on Safety and People Rescuing ‘Courage Constellation’ in the title of ‘The best duty officer of CMC’ who got ahead his colleagues in service from other 13 Volga regions. A senior duty officer must have great knowledge: to know region territory, place of dislocation, amount of forces and means of the territorial subsystem of the comprehensive state system of emergency situations prevention and liquidation, legal acts.

For the past 8 years Tatarstan headquarters has been recognized as the best among 85 territorial bodies of EMERCOM of Russia third time already. None of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia in the subjects of the Russian Federation. Solemn awarding of the ‘The Best Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia’ carry pennant will take place on December 4 in Moscow during awarding of the winners of IX All-Russian Festival on Safety and People Rescuing ‘Courage Constellation’.
