Incidents as of January 27:
Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 44 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 22, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 6. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: private houses – 2, outhouses – 1, saunas – 2, vehicles – 1. 1 person died.
In total, during the social action on installation of autonomous fire detectors, with their help lives of 18 citizens of the republic, including 9 children, were saved.
Extracted a victim from a car that fell under ice, helped him, and then pulled the car itself from the formed ice-hole. All this procedure was worked out today on the Arakchino — Upper Uslon ice passage across the Volga River by firefighters of the fire and rescue department No. 112 of Upper Uslon District, rescuers and firefighters from Kazan, workers of the passage, as well as the forces and means of RSChS of Upper Uslon Municipal District. The plot of the idea was a traffic accident, as a result of which one of the cars partially fell under the ice. There was a victim, the car driver.

Including garbage extinguishing – 1, false alarms – 14, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 9 fires: residential sector – 5. 1 person was injured.
In connection with carrying out of exercises on working out of interaction of forces and means at occurrence of incidents on an ice passage with the participation of vehicles, on January 26 the work of two ice passages will be suspended:
- on the Volga River between the settlements of Staroe Arakchino (Kazan) and Upper Uslon from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM;
- on the river Kama between the settlements of Pokrovskoe and Krasny Klyuch (Yelabuga Municipal District) from 13:30 PM to 15:00 PM.
The working trip to Tatarstan of the Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Liquidation of Consequences of Natural Disasters, Vladlen Aksyonov was dedicated to checking the readiness of units of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT, their staffing and technical equipment within the preparation and holding of the World Football Championship matches in Kazan. In addition, the Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of Russia conducted interviews with the personnel of the units.
The fire occurred on January 8 in the deep night. Only thanks to his vigilant neighbor, the culprit of the fire, who fell asleep on the couch with a burning cigarette, remained alive. As recalls 74-year-old Haydar Zaynullin, at night his wife felt the smell of smoke and immediately woke him up. Then she called a fire brigade.

Including garbage extinguishing – 0, false alarms – 10, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 8. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 6 fires: private houses – 1, apartment houses – 1, vehicles – 1, garages – 1, saunas – 1, others – 1.
Emergency situation: on the Volga River, a car with two passengers in the cabin exceeded the permissible speed during a ride on the ice passage, went outside the lane and partially fell under the ice. This was the "idea" of the tactic and combat trainings, organized today on the ice passage pf Zelenodolsk — Lower Vyazovye. The main objectives of this training are preparation of rescue groups for actions on prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency accidents, improvement of practical skills of GIMS inspectors in interaction with other formations, checking the readiness for actions on liquidation of emergency situations. In addition, the second stage of the training day was the "Snowmobile-2018" operation.
