Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 73 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 11, false alarms – 26, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, meal burning – 1, cooperation with other services – 0, others – 2. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 13 fires: residential sector – 6, outhouses – 4, garden houses – 2, various types of property – 1.

On May 28, 1989, during the liquidation of fire at pumping station of the gas plant of JSC 'Nizhnekamskneftekhim' three employees of fire service OVPO-1 of MIA TASSR were killed. This year, the first squad of the Federal Fire Service timed the memorial day of their comrades to the opening of the memorial complex, which was built on the territory of the squad, as well as in FRD-47 and FRD-35, by firefighters' hands.

During the press conference, the Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Small Vessels, Yuri Venediktov, made a statement to journalists. He informed the media that the official opening of the bathing season, which traditionally will last till the end of the summer months, is expected from June 1. The head of the supervisory organization told about the work done, innovations and rules of safe holiday.

According to the Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of RT, in the afternoon and evening on May 30, 2018 on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and in Kazan there are expected strong wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s, in the period from 12 PM to 8 PM at places very strong wind gusts 20-25 m/s, locally squall and thunderstorm.

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 66 times. Including garbage extinguishing – 6, abandoned buildings – 2, false alarms – 22, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, meal burning – 5, cooperation with other services – 14. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 12 fires: private houses – 5, apartment houses – 2, saunas – 1, outhouses – 1, garden houses – 1, trade objects – 1, other objects – 1.

Firefighters and rescuers practiced fire extinguishing and rescuing people, and students learned to evacuate properly from the Academy building in case an emergency situation would stop them during their studies. Also rescuers of Kazan search and rescue unit of the Civil Protection Department of Kazan showed students how to use a rope descent device and how to handle a fire extinguisher during evacuation from high-altitude floors of the university.

Today on the basis of Kazan search and rescue squad there was launched a new format of interaction of firefighters and rescuers: practical exchange of experience and skills at training sessions. Rescuers are happy to give their experience in using special rescue equipment to colleagues-firefighters, in order to jointly improve their professional skills and help to tighten up in practice for colleagues-firefighters.

In Almetyevsk on training ground of the 2nd squad of the federal fire service there were republican competitions of units of gas and smoke service among contract department of the federal fire service for the Republic of Tatarstan. 8 units of the service competed for the right to be called the best. Traditionally, the competitions were devoted to the memory of firefighters who died in the performance of their duties.

Including garbage extinguishing – 24, false alarms – 52, short circuit of wiring without burning – 7, meal burning – 2, cooperation with other services – 22. Firefighters of the republic eliminated 18 fires: private houses – 3, apartment houses – 2, saunas – 6, outhouses – 3, garden houses – 1, other objects – 3.
