EMERCOM Forces and Means Provide Safety to the Stage of ‘Red Bull Air Race’ World Air Piloting Championship

The stage of ‘Red Bull Air Race’ world air piloting championship will start on July 22 in Kazan. And today, the competitions participants held first training flights. From EMERCOM of Russia, the participant’s safety will be provided by 41 people on 8 vessels and 4 vehicles.

In order of quality implementation of tasks on safety provision of people on water bodies, there was formed a group of forces and means consisting of units of GIMS Center, the 7th squad of the federal fire service, Kazan branch of Volga search and rescue squad of EMERCOM of Russia, military unit 5561 of the federal military service of the National Guard of Russia, Kazan Linear Department of MIA of Russia on transport, the Ministry of Inner Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan, OSVOD representatives.

Preventive ice safety raids

Rescuers of ZSRU No. 6 (Naberezhnye Chelny), which are part of the Search and Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted preventive raids aimed at raising awareness and safety culture of the population on the ice, especially among fishermen.
