Yesterday’s Characteristic Incidents

Incidents as of June 24:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 73 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 10, false alarms – 36, short circuit of wiring without burning – 1, burnt meal – 0, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 7 fires, residential sector – 2, outhouses – 1, various types of property – 2, vehicles – 1. 1 person died.

Causes: violation of electrical equipment installation rules – 2, violation of fire safety rules during furnace use – 1, faulty vehicle systems and mechanisms – 1, careless use of fire – 1,arson – 1, being ascertained – 1.

Departures of fire departments for rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 9 times.

Departures of voluntary fire protection units on firefighting – 5.

Departures of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 7 times. Doors unlocking – 2, traffic accidents – 2, search and rescue operations on the water – 2, others – 1. Preventive lessons and talks on safety rules on the water and first aid provision to a drowning in children health camps, school camps and parents – 4. Preventive works on rules of behavior on the water in social networks – 1.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Warn:

Keep the rules of safe behavior on the water:

 - do not swim in a state of intoxication;

 - do not drive water vehicles (boats, water bikes, skis, etc.) near places where people swim;

 - do not jump into the water at unfamiliar places;

 - do not leave children on the shore without adult supervision;

 - do not allow children to go without permission to the water and swim.

In case of fire and other emergencies immediately call 01, or 112.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave powered on electrical and gas devices unattended.

Remember! A fire does not occur by itself.  Its cause is the human negligence and carelessness use of fire. A drunk person loses control of oneself and one’s actions, and all the more cannot bear any responsibility for another person's life.
