Fire Service Through the Eyes of Children

Within International Children Protection Day and the Year of Fire Service, employees of Kazan Fire and Rescue Garrison, press service of the Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with Tatarstanian Republican Department of VDPO organized a holiday for children in Fire and Rescue Department No. 3 of OFPS-7 for RT. Today, Kazan firefighters could realize the dream of six-year-old Artur Shmelyov, a graduate of the International polylingual kindergarten “Bala-City”, who wants to become a firefighter in the future. The children came together with their parents. Artur with his coevals from the kindergarten not only saw modern fire techniques, but also could go for a drive in a fire truck themselves and shoot the water from a hand fire-hose barrel.
