Competitions of gas and smoke protection service (GDZS) units of the first squad of the Federal Fire Service for the Republic of Tatarstan have been held for three days in Nizhnekamsk on a training ground. The competitions were traditionally dedicated to the memory of firefighters Nail Mukhamadeev, Nail Kalimullin, Vezir Gurbanov, who died on May 28, 1989 during the elimination of fire at the pumping station of the gas plant “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”.

52 units each composed of four people showed knowledge of theoretical basics of GDZS and demonstrated their skills in practice. The first place was taken by GDZS of the 1st guard of FD-92. The second place was taken by GDZS of the 1st guard of FD-35. And GDZS guard of FD-90 took the third place.
