Characteristic Incidents for the Last Day

Incidents as of June 29:

Fire departments of Federal Fire Service of Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan went on alert 89 times. Including burning garbage extinguishing – 13, false alarms – 33, singed meal – 2, short circuit of wiring without burning – 4, cooperation with other services – 10. Firefighters of the republic eliminated – 9 fires, 2 of them in residential sector. 11 people were saved, 3 people were injured.

Causes are: carelessness when smoking – 2, violation of fire safety rules during gas equipment use – 2, careless handling of fire – 3, arson – 1, ascertain – 1.

Missions of fire departments on rescuing at the elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents – 18 times.

Missions of voluntary fire protection units on fire fighting – 2.

Missions of search and rescue units of EMERCOM of RT – 9 times. Including: traffic accident – 1, searching operations on the water – 4, door unblocking – 4.

Headquarters of EMERCOM of Russia for RT warn:

· do not abuse alcohol, never smoke in bed;

· do not leave children unattended, teach them basic rules of fire safety;

· never use faulty electrical wiring, do not overload the grid, use caution when using electric heaters;

· do not leave electrical and gas devices unattended.
