Today, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan honored one of the first heads of the republican emergency department, Minzagit Islamgirovich Ziganshin, who turned 75 years old. Andrey Orlov, Acting Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented the venerable aksakal with a congratulatory address and valuable gifts. Chairman Gabdelkhai Valiullin also presented a letter of thanks on behalf of the regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of Veterans of Emergency Management and Fire Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Minzagit Islamgirovich's whole life is connected with service to the Fatherland. In 1969, he became a cadet at the Kazan Higher Military Engineering College. Upon graduation, the young lieutenant becomes a platoon commander and then an assistant chief of staff of a separate missile division of a missile brigade in the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany. From 1979 to 1982 - Assistant Chief of Staff, Deputy Commander of the Armament Division, Chief of Staff of the separate missile division of the missile brigade in the Central Asian Military District. In 1982, Minzagit Ziganshin entered the Military Artillery Academy. And then there were the positions of commander of the training division of the missile training brigade in the Volga Military District and commander of the missile division of the combined arms army missile brigade in the Far Eastern Military District.
In 1990, Lieutenant Colonel Minzagit Ziganshin was discharged from military service in the reserve due to organizational and staff arrangements. From 1992 to 1995, he worked as the chief executive Officer of the Department of Administrative and Law Enforcement Agencies of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, and since August 1995 he has been appointed First Deputy Chairman of the newly created State Committee for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Since then, his fate has been inextricably linked with the Ministry of Emergency Situations. A lot has been done over the years, and a lot has had to start from scratch, including the development of a number of legislative and regulatory legal acts regulating activities in the field of emergency prevention and response.
And in 1997, Minzagit Ziganshin returned to military service as First Deputy Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, from which he retired to the reserve with the rank of colonel in March 2005. Then, from 2005 to 2011, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan as a federal government civil servant.
