Tatarstan firefighters teach children to face risk without fear
Employees of the fire service of the republic come to the youngest to speak with them in the language of trust.
In the kindergarten "Malysh" in the village of Tatarskoye Akhmetevo, the commander of the department of a separate post for the protection of the village of Yukhmachi met with those who are just learning to read, but should already know the main thing: fire is not a toy. The conversation was about why matches are not toys for children, how to behave when there is smoke, and why you can't hide in the closet or under the bed if there is a fire in the house. And the highlight was the opportunity to try on real firefighter combat clothes, which seemed to the kids to be almost magical armor.
And in the village of Nizhni Chershily, Leninogorsk district, they came to preschool children to explain serious things in a playful way.: what does an incipient fire look like, what is the danger of smoke, and why even the most ordinary TV can become a source of trouble if left on. The children learned that when a fire breaks out, the main thing is not to panic, not to hide, but to immediately run to the adults and leave the room. The opportunity to try on a helmet and combat jacket was a real delight — the kids felt like real firefighters in them.
The lesson for second graders "НОШ Вольный Стан" was conducted by the department of a separate post. The topic sounded serious: "The rules of fire safety in everyday life." The guys didn't just listen — they asked questions, reasoned, and someone even picked up a brush. Drawings were born right during the lesson.
And in the village of Aktyubinsky, the workers of a separate post went further. They didn't just talk about safety here, they helped us take the first step into the profession. A student of the 11th grade of school No. 3 is preparing for competitions in fire-applied sports, and firefighters showed him how to quickly put on combat clothes and how to feel confident in the equipment.
Security begins with a conversation. And these conversations are not abating in Tatarstan. Because forewarned means armed. And a child armed with knowledge is a future adult who will not get lost in trouble.
