The International Festival of Traditional Cultures "Golden Square", organized as part of the international cultural and educational project "Altyn Maidan" named after Biser Kirov, was successfully held in the Chinese city of Qinhuangdao. The event was held under the auspices of the Year of Culture of Russia and China on the initiative of the Beidaihe District Government (People's Republic of China) and was aimed at preserving traditional songs, dances, rituals and the living memory of peoples.
