Such meetings are extremely important for the younger generation, because the memory of the Great Patriotic War is an integral part of the history of Russia and its people. This war has affected every family, every person in our country. Many have lost their loved ones, and many have become disabled. All of them have left their mark in history and in the memory of the people.

The events of 1941-1945 became the subject of conversation. Ferdinand Timurkhanov reminded the children about the chronology of events and the main dates of the Great Patriotic War. He noted that war is the hardest, most exhausting work on the verge of human possibilities. It's a constant threat of death, the need to kill so that you don't get killed. The need to endure hardships, to do without the most basic necessities, fatigue, malnutrition and lack of sleep. Our soldiers were distinguished not only by their dedication and ability to endure hardships, but also by their wit and ability to quickly master military skills. Every day, or even every minute, gave birth to heroes. The pilots rammed enemy planes at critical moments. Thousands of fighters engaged in single combat with enemy tanks, armed with grenades and molotov cocktails, the retired colonel emphasized.

May 9th is a day that will forever remain in the history of Russia and the whole world. The day when the Great Patriotic War ended, the bloodiest and most destructive war in the history of mankind. It is a symbol of victory over fascism and Nazism, which threatened peace and freedom.

In turn, the guys told about their ancestors who defended their homeland. Many brought portraits of their great-grandfathers. Lyceum students are sure that it is necessary to remember the exploits of our ancestors in order to preserve their legacy and pass it on to future generations.
