«Thank you for the letters: they warm our hearts and inspire us to win...»

7 April 2025, Monday

With these words, Timur Fattaheev, a participant in the special military operation and a former senior firefighter of the fire and rescue unit No. 4 of the Kazan Fire and Rescue Garrison, thanked the cadets of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazan School No. 101 during a Lesson of Courage. The lesson was organized for sixth graders by the public organization of veterans of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the Year of Defender of the Fatherland.

In 2023, Timur decided to become a member of the SVO and change the fiery front to a combat one. He came to the military enlistment office with his two brothers, and there they gave him the call sign "Junior", as the youngest of the relatives. He turned 32 that year. He served as a senior automatic firefighter in the volunteer detachment "Bars" in the Zaporozhye region, defending the city of Kamenskoye from the enemy. Telling the guys about the fighting, Timur mentioned that his service in the fire department and physical training helped him a lot.

In a conversation with the students, the senior mentor stressed the importance of patriotism and willingness to support their country in difficult times, and also instructed the students to play sports and take their studies seriously, gaining the necessary knowledge that plays an important role in service.

After the lesson, the cadets surrounded Timur Fattaheev, wanting to take a photo with the hero. And the shared photo has become a valuable document of the historiography of school No. 101.
