Relaxing in the heat by the water is fraught with a lot of dangers for the population. Just over the past day, three people in various regions of Tatarstan have said goodbye to their lives on the water in the republic. To prevent the death of people in reservoirs, inspectors of the SISV of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan conduct daily preventive patrols of places of mass recreation of citizens near the water.
Today, a patrol group of the Kazan Inspection Department of the SISV Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan went on a raid along the waters of the Kazanka and Volga rivers.
The main causes of death in reservoirs are bathing in unequipped places and alcohol intoxication. Since the beginning of the bathing season, 20 incidents have been recorded on the water, as a result of which 16 people died, two of them children, 7 people were rescued on the water.
The most serious violation among shipowners is the management of a vessel that is not registered in the statutory order, as well as if the owner of a small watercraft does not have a driving license with him.
SISV inspectors and community activists held preventive talks with those citizens who risk swimming in places that are not equipped for this purpose and handed out memos to them.
